Fastrack Jump Start Gel

For use at birth or at time of scours, Jump Start  helps to naturally fight off harmful pathogens which can cause setbacks in health and growth.

5ml should be given within 6 hours of birth or at first feed to help the newborn  absorb more  of the antibodies available in colostrum, populate the  gut with bacteria, stimulate appetite and rumen development.

• Newborn calf, cria, foal, lamb: 5ml as soon as possible after birth
• Off colour, not eating: 5ml daily  until appetite returns
• Scours : 5ml straight away, repeat morning & night until cleared up

 " We have been using Fastrack Jump Start gel for two full birthing seasons now.  It is an indispensible part of our "Birthing Kit".  Every cria born at Fowberry is given between 3-5ml as soon as it is sternal and showing a sucking reflex. We have had no incidences of milk scour since using Jump Start and have noticed above average weight gains and growth rates.  Jump Start is hugely valuable when intervention with the cria's nutrition is required - we give ALL bottle feeds and partial bottle feeds 5ml at every weighing, which means every 3-4 days.  All our crias receive 5ml Jump Start fortnightly regardless of their robust health and this continues through weaning untll they are confidently taking hard feed.  It is difficiult to single out one particular benefit of this product it is so complete in its own right.  We are very pleased to endorse Jump Start and would never be without a supply on the farm."
